NCL Clinic
Part of our NCL Net emphasises where and how NCL should be diagnosed and treated. We feel that patients with such rare diseases are simply better off in the hands of specialists. That’s why we emphasize the importance of the NCL Clinic.
The NCL Clinic should offer all aspects of diagnosis, treatment and advice, including the differentiated diagnosis of all types of NCL. It should offer a thorough consultation for patients of all ages, including adults. It must offer treatment, including psychosocial advice and care of the entire afflicted family. Since travelling to Hamburg may be impossible for some patients, we also offer extended consultation services to help you find a primary care physician or parents group in your vicinity. We can be contacted by phone, mail, or email. Just click here if you want to contact us now.
Although there is no cure for the NCL we are conviced that specialized care can reduce suffering and contribute to comforting the families with an afflicted patient.
Until today two specialized clinics in Germany can be recommended by our NCL Net.
Our vision is that we can soon enhance this list with numerous other spcialized clinics from all over Europe and the world:
